Here's what Robb's been up to lately.
MAIN PROJECT: A novel.
- Beneath It All: A Novel was released in 2017. The story is about one way to seriously green America and change our energy and economic paradigms. Of course, it's also a love story. What could be better?
- The story is contemporary mainstream literary fiction, set in August 2011. It's character-driven with a plot comprising mystery, intrigue, and personal growth.
- Settings, in order of appearance, are Manitou Springs, Colorado; Aspen, Santa Fe, back to Aspen, then back to Manitou Springs.
- It has a sex scene (okay, I removed it and then put it back in because all the women who reviewed the novel said, "What? Leave it the hell IN!!!!). It makes me blush though to think people will read it and maybe wonder about the morals of the author. But sex sells, and we all think about sex pretty close to all the time!
- A wealthy heroine. A working class hero. Ferraris. Twin engine private plane. Intrigue. Mystery. Aspen. Santa Fe. Check it out: paperback and hardback through Ingram to major retailers and libraries, paperback on Amazon, and Kindle on Amazon.
Project Two: Pine Valley Airport & Donner Air Services: History 1935 - 1955.
- Approximately 120 pages. Nonfiction.
- Short story of a WWII era small airport that became the United States Air Force Academy Airfield, with 50 photographs.
- Unpublished as yet.
Other Projects: Random essays around 1,000 words.
- Saving these for my memoirs, or when I feel more brave in a kinder political and social environment.
