The Turning Point

Robb Heckel

April 29, 2009

I've always been on my own.

Why should I be surprised now

Now that you want to leave me.

It's much too late you say to save us you're done.

The tuning point was about trust.

So that's the ground we're on, you said—

well that goes both ways.

What did you think you had to protect yourself from

back when you told me you had to protect yourself.

I am so far outside myself

Embodying so much more than myself

A representation of more than even I will ever know

Just like you
